Excuse us while we leave reality behind and make the great escape to paradise in Provence! Orchestrated perfectly by The Romanticist Studios, these pics are what (day)dreams are made of. When planning a destination wedding, we love the idea of combining the best of both ‘worlds’ to create a truly authentic look. To bring this vision to life, the couple carefully selected the ideal location along with a combination of ‘home’ and ‘local’ teams that could marry American trends with the natural beauty and warmth of Provence.

In order to showcase the modern details, The Romanticist Studios chose a trendy color palette of ‘greenery’ and almond that enhanced the scenic elements at the Chateau and the bride’s natural beauty. The romantic dress by Alexandra Grecco was worn with custom jewelry by Sara Golden that was made special for the bride. By using natural grasses and garden roses, Laetitia Fleurs d’Atelier crafted a bouquet that channeled both organic and feminine vibes. A watercolor ribbon by Silk and Willow completed the bridal look in a truly sophisticated way.

The Romanticist Studios said, “The head table was designed to stand out at the location. We chose pillar candles and long café au lait tapers from Creative Candles along with a dramatic fern velvet tablecloth from La Tavola Linen for a modern touch of color. The place settings were adorned with local grasses and handwritten name cards from Tara Spencer. The florals were wild and asymmetrical in shades of almond, green grass and soft rose.”

  • Romantic Fall Wedding Tablescape Inspiration Featuring Thin Tapers by Creative Candles

Autumn is known as a season of change and we’re about to witness a change in both weather and scenery. Although we love the bright hues and lush greenery of the summer months, we can’t wait for the muted greens and rich jewel tones that fall brings each year. Today, we're featuring this gorgeous fall wedding inspiration complete with an incredible tablescape that brides everywhere can draw inspiration from!

    Fall tablescape

Photographer Alexandra Vonk said, "Once the leaves fall from the trees and autumn makes its appearance, we can often enjoy late summer days. The colors of the trees and the blooming Heathlands were the inspiration as well as the backdrop for this late-summer bridal shoot, 'Falling in Love' that took place in the south of the Netherlands.”

The brilliant colors of fall are clearly reflected in the styling and design. For the tablescape, the team chose a rural setting in the scenic countryside of the Heathlands. The rustic, farmhouse-style table was adorned with a variety of autumnal touches, including a stunning floral arrangement by Don Florito and simple details on the place settings. Hand-calligraphed stationary created with a beautiful watercolor technique and a gradient of fall colors creates a whimsical look and feel.

The prettiness continues with wooden cross-back chairs and silk table runners from Silk & Willow. Our thin taper candles paired with vintage brass candlesticks always make for a truly timeless look that conveys romance, charm and elegance.

  • Bright Colors and Textures Bring this Chic, Citrus-Inspired Wedding Shoot to Life

When some of our favorite vendors team up for a styled shoot, truly gorgeous things happen. Take one look at this citrus blossom wedding shoot that took place at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum. Kelly Oshiro, Koman Photography and La Tavola Linen brought together the details for this editorial featured on Style Me Pretty.

    Cafe Au Lait Taper Candles

Designer Kelly Oshiro said she was inspired by the annual citrus blossoms that take place every spring in Santa Barbara when she designed this lemon-centric shoot for Koman Photography. For the decor, she hand-picked fresh lemons on the branch with citrus blossoms which were then mixed into the floral designs on both the table and in the bouquet. We can only imagine how yummy-smelling this shoot was!

The lemon-themed invitation suite, designed by Susan Silverberg, paired gorgeously with citrine earrings from 33 Jewels. And what better way to incorporate the lemons into the theme than to create a tasty signature cocktail with locally sourced ingredients?

Kelly Oshiro said, “For the tabletop design, it was all about color and I picked La Tavola’s new velvet runners in “Golden” as the base for the table. Simple white and clear place settings from Pretty Vintage Rentals and my brass goblets made up the place settings. And for a unique place card idea, I placed the name card underneath the clear plate with some individual citrus leaves and individual lilac blooms. Lush floral arrangements in terracotta compotes featured citrus on the branch, nasturtium, orchids and parrot tulips. In between, I placed taper candles from Creative Candles in Cafe Au Lait and then scattered lemon in between.”

What a fun twist on an edible tabletop! Summer may be winding down, but we can definitely see the citrus taking off in 2018 for spring and early summer brides.

  • Old Meets New in This Timeless Wedding Inspiration from Austin, Texas

Are you ready for some unbelievably gorgeous wedding inspiration? Take a look at this styled shoot captured by Jenna McElroy Photography, designed by Bespoke Events and florals by Clementine Botanical Art. This dream team set out to combine both old and new elements for a timeless, romantic look. They chose Laguna Gloria for the venue, a stunning, Italian-style estate located in Austin, Texas.

From photographer Jenna McElroy: “For the design of this shoot, Lindsay and I wanted to combine the ideas of old with new. Laguna Gloria is a beautiful estate turned museum and wedding venue in the middle of Austin. It is an oasis on the lake. The Italian style villa was designed after the owner's honeymoon to Lake Como. We wanted to combine this masterful Italian architectural design with a modern and minimal tablescape, all tied up with a hint of romance.”

According to the designers, it was their goal to keep the table design simple and clean -- and they nailed it. The dinnerware from 10th Collection was ideal for this aesthetic, and our modern, thin taper candles and sleek crystal holders helped tie the entire look together. Clementine created a flawless floral centerpiece that added just the right amount of color and movement to our minimal design.

This dreamy inspiration shoot reminded us that the timelessness of historic architecture can mesh with the trendy minimalism style of today in order to create a gorgeous design, blending the old and the new that any bride and groom would love to encompass on their wedding day.

  • Summer Solstice with Warm & Moody Wedding Inspiration

The beginning of summer is such a gorgeous time! Traditionally, June is the most popular month for weddings, and it just so happens to be the inspiration for this dreamy styled shoot. This summer solstice editorial, featured on Green Wedding Shoes, was conceptualized from the “heavenly bodies of the sun, moon and stars” in a purely organic yet luxurious fashion.

Styled by GATHER Events, it’s safe to say we’re completely over the moon about this shoot. A combination of lavish textures, gradient colors and moody elements, the styled shoot took on a warm and ethereal quality, reminiscent of midsummer nights.

We’re in love with this altar, featuring a hoop decorated with flowers by Gather Design Company. It’s such a creative way to dress up an interior space! The qualities of the moon and its phases are channeled through the bone, grey and mauve colored textiles and flowers, circular shapes and moonstone-like opaque lanterns. The warmth of the sun is represented in the warm tangerine and peach colors, gold metallics, sun ray imagery and geometric shapes.

The use of rich and varied textures was essential to the look and feel of this shoot, and designers brought in materials like velvet, linen and silk. That ivory silk runner and the flowing ribbons on the bouquet are all hand dyed and crafted by Tono and Co!

Warm and moody tones carried over to the tablescape with pops of orange, dusty rose and black and gold accents. We’re especially fond of how our taper candles pair with the lush flower arrangements by Gather Design Company!

Now that’s a golden cake! Geometric shapes, sun rays and taper candles in vintage brass candlesticks come together for a truly unique style.

  • A Dreamy Destination Wedding at Château Renaissance Featuring Creative Candles

Tucked away in the majestic forests of the Loire Valley in France sits the dreamy Château Renaissance, a 15th century castle and classified historic monument. This editorial shoot, captured by Oliver Fly Photography, was featured in Dear Gray Magazine and embodies everything a French destination wedding should be: elegant, refined and romantic.

For this magical day, an intimate ceremony was set in front of the prestigious and unique architecture of the chateau. The Monsieur and Madame stood on an old staircase lined with our pillar candles in Cafe Au lait overlooking the gorgeous castle and all its historic beauty.

The romantic atmosphere continued into the reception with an enchanted tablescape featuring stunning florals, inspired by a pretty color palette of pastel tones. Our towering taper candles in Cafe Au Lait blend in beautifully and provide just the right touch of romance.

Photographer Oliver Fly said, “The dinner table was set up in the squared courtyard where the privileged classes used to parad. Surrounded by Montaigne chairs, the extremely elegant design of the table is adorned with silver dinnerware and an exquisite collection of fine silver candlesticks surrounded by stunning floral centerpieces.”

To top it all off, this fairy-tale shoot had a fairy-tale ending. The couple took a magical getaway after the ceremony into an enchanted forest in a Jaguar MK2 Classic car from 1967.
